The Purity Hygiene Clinic is the newest member of the Purity family and we want to extend our warmest welcome. At Purity Hygiene Clinic we want to be able offer our patients the opportunity to freshen and brighten their smile without breaking the bank.
Over recent years a new scheme called Direct Access has become available which allows Dental Care professionals, such as Hygienists, to examine and treat patients without the need to see the dentist first.
Under Direct Access you will be able to receive the following treatment from Abbie:
– Scaling and polishing
– Periodontal treatment
– Air polish stain removing
– Whitening on a private basis – under a dentist’s prescription
Unlike with our NHS hygiene treatments, we offer a full range of stain removal options, so you can get the sparkle back in your smile. During your appointment, Abbie will examine and chart your teeth, highlight areas of plaque and tartar buildup and give extensive advice on ways to improve your oral hygiene at home. Abbie will then remove any plaque deposits present and remove the stain from the surface of your teeth.
Your gum health is one of the most important aspects of dental well-being. Poor oral hygiene and high levels of plaque in your mouth can lead to gum disease, weakening the foundations supporting your teeth and therefore eventually tooth loss.
But it’s not just your mouth that bacteria in your mouth can affect. People with poor oral hygiene have also been found to be at higher risk of heart disease and high blood pressure.
Luckily as well as helping you maintain a healthy mouth, Abbie will also help you on your journey to obtain a beautiful smile that will fill you with confidence.
If Abbie notices any other issues with your teeth or soft tissues, such as decay, she may advise you to seek advice from a dentist. We recommend that all patients still have regular check-ups with a dentist as Abbie is unable to provide the same comprehensive examination as your dentist.
